Environmental/Regulatory Associate
Job Requirements:
Our Environmental Natural Resources group seeks associates with at least two years of post-JD experience in environmental regulatory matters. This position involves assisting companies in all aspects of state and federal regulatory regimes, including rule and guidance development; permitting; implementation of compliance programs; self-evaluation of compliance; and enforcement. Clean Air Act experience a plus.
Qualified candidates will have experience in the following areas:
- Advising clients on a wide range of environmental regulatory matters.
- Strong legal research and legal writing skills.
- Preferred background in environmental science or energy.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor
- Must be licensed to practice law and a member in good standing in the state/jurisdiction in which the position is based or willing to complete process to waive into Colorado Bar.
- Successful candidates will have strong analytical skills, and a willingness to positively contribute to a collaborative work environment.
Position type:
- Full-Time/Regular
Salary Range:
- $170,000 to $215,000 – Depending on experience.

Natural Resources Litigation Associate
Job Requirements:
Our Litigation group seeks a junior associate attorney with post-JD experience to join our natural resources litigation team. Join us and help solve disputes involving natural resources, oil & gas, energy, the environment, ski areas and federal public lands. We are looking for a star performer who will take the work seriously, yet still be a part of our fun Firm culture.
Qualified candidates may have the following attributes:
- Experience representing clients in natural resources, oil & gas, energy, federal lands, or environmental litigation matters.
- Strong legal research and legal writing skills.
- Enthusiasm, attention to detail, an entrepreneurial and ownership mentality, and the ability to contribute to and collaborate with the team.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor
- Former judicial law clerks encouraged to apply.
- Must be licensed to practice law and a member in good standing in Colorado or willing to complete the process to waive into Colorado Bar.

Salary Range:
- $170,000 to $200,000 – Depending on experience.
