Gavin Jacobs is an attorney with William Weese Pepple & Ferguson’s employment litigation team. Gavin defends companies against employment claims, provides advice and counseling on a range of employment issues and training on best practices.

Gavin brings a depth of litigation experience to the team, having practiced as a deputy district attorney in Denver and Arapahoe Counties for five years, where he tried over 40 jury trials. In his role as a deputy district attorney, Gavin garnered a reputation for his ethical, professional, and vigorous representation of the state.

Gavin is a Denver native and a Denver East High School alumnus. After attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison for his undergraduate education, Gavin returned to Denver to attend the University of Denver-Sturm College of Law. At DU, Gavin focused on gathering as much hands-on litigation experience as possible both by competing on DU’s national mock trial team and by working in the appeals unit of the Arapahoe County District Attorney’s Office. Gavin graduated from DU Law School in the top 5% of his class.
