Janette L. Ferguson Joins Lewis, Bess, Williams & Weese P.C.

Denver, Colorado (June 10, 2016) – Lewis, Bess, Williams & Weese, P.C. is pleased to announce that Janette L. Ferguson has joined the firm as a Director and Shareholder, effective June 8, 2016.
Janette has over 25 years of experience representing clients in complex commercial litigation and providing strategic counselling and advice for the efficient and effective resolution of disputes. She has worked with individual, small, mid and large cap market clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, commercial real estate, health care, insurance, retail, food and beverage, finance, oil and gas and mining.

Janette has substantive experience in a wide range of legal disputes including breach of contract, fraud and misrepresentation, breach of fiduciary duty, business torts, Consumer Protection Act claims, employment, class action litigation, product liability, insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, and state and federal bid protests. Janette also has experience challenging and defending federal natural resource agency decisions, NEPA compliance, and consulting on the Endangered Species Act, the National Historic Preservation Act and the Oil Pollution Control Act.

Prior to joining the firm, Janette was a Partner in the trial practice group at Davis Graham & Stubbs, LLP in Denver for over 15 years. Prior to that, Janette was a Partner at Robins, Kaplan LLP, a large national firm, and practiced in their Orange County and San Francisco, California offices for over 12 years.

Janette received her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law and her B.A. in Political Science/Public Service from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Janette is admitted to practice and an active member of the bar in both Colorado and California.
