Gavin previously worked as a deputy district attorney in Denver and Arapahoe Counties for five years and tried over 40 jury trials. In his role as a deputy district attorney, Gavin garnered a reputation for his ethical, professional, and vigorous representation of the state. Gavin graduated from the University of Denver law school in the top 5% of his class.
