Associate Attorney Mike Dornik Joins Lewis, Bess, Williams & Weese P.C.

Lewis Bess Williams & Weese is pleased to announce that Mike Dornik joined the firm as an associate attorney on February 18, 2019. Mike is a member of the firm’s Business and Corporate and Intellectual Property Transactions practice groups, and will work on behalf of national and regional companies in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, technology transactions, general business governance, and commercial transactions.

Prior to joining Lewis Bess, Mike practiced technology transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and venture financing for a boulder-based law firm and was previously in-house counsel for a large satellite communications and entertainment company and later a cyber-security company.

Mike is a graduate of the University of Colorado Law School where he focused his scholarship on business law and issues surrounding technology and technology companies. During law school Mike served as the managing director of the Deming Center Venture Fund and participated in the Entrepreneurial Law Clinic. Prior to law school Mike worked as a financial analyst at a small private equity company that focused on buying and building renewable energy plants.
